At 06:05 local time on September 5, with the completion of the final weld joint of Campaign 1 of the current overseas offshore pipeline project, Luoyang Deping Technology has successfully concluded all welding construction for this phase.

Campaign 1 of the project commenced on July 24. A total of 6,700 weld joints have been finished. Impressive construction records were achieved: a maximum of 212 weld joints completed within two shifts in one day, and a peak-shift output of 109 weld joints in a single shift. The overall welding acceptance rate reached 99.28%.

The project team gave full play to the technical advantages of Deping’s self-developed automatic welding system, and made scientific arrangements for production shifts. Supported by rich on-site welding experience and both on-site and back-office technical support, and working closely with the client to jointly tackle difficulties, the team successfully resolved various early-stage production obstacles. Both production efficiency and welding quality were guaranteed under complex offshore operating conditions.

The successful delivery of this milestone fully verifies the outstanding performance of Deping’s automatic-welding procedures and equipment in overseas offshore pipeline construction, and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent project phase.
