People's consumption of natural gas, oil and other related products is increasing day by day. Accordingly, the long-distance pipeline construction industry is also booming. Because of many reasons, manual welding has been unable to meet the requirements of pipeline welding at this stage. After years of research and development and practice, Deping Technology Co., Ltd. has fully launched ZDP800D series pipeline automatic orbital welding machine, which has been successfully used in many pipeline construction projects such as China-Russian long-distance pipeline.

The ZDP800D series automatic orbital welding machine of Deping technology can be applied to the pipeline with X60 steel grade or above and the minimum diameter of 6inch or above. The ZDP800D double torch dual control all-position pipe welding system is a very flexible welding station, mainly for exterior welding of the pipe. The whole welding system mainly consists of 10 parts, which are wire feeder, hand control box, main control unit, welding torch, welding bug, band, water cooler, welding protective gas, power supply and welding power supply. Its advantages are as follows:

1. Compared with traditional manual welding, it has high automation function: automatic welding torch arrangement, automatic control of welding torch height through arc sensor, and control of welding current and voltage.

2. The two welding torches are independent control mode, and the welding process can be completely independent by programming. Automatic horizontal and radial tracking, automatic control of the welding torch in the center of the molten pool.

3. It greatly reduces the labor intensity of the welder. The welder only needs to install the welding bug, replace the conductive nozzle and monitor the welding machine in normal working condition. Welder can monitor welding condition using remote display; Welder can influence the process using the remote pendant with programmable limitation.

4. Deping technology automatic orbital welding machine can record, save and monitor data online. The ZDP800D series pipeline automatic orbital welding machine system can be welded in various forms. The welding bug can control one or two welding torches for welding, the flat feature GMAW welding method is used for backing welding, and pulse PGMAW welding method is used for filling and capping welding. Welding parameters can be edited on both computer terminal and equipment control display.

5.The ZDP800D uses the welding arc waveform tracking to maintain the welding torch and the molten pool in an optimal position by computerized monitoring and control, and uses the 360° absolute inclination sensor to achieve automatic selection of the welding process during welding, ensure the maximum welding efficiency and quality, and achieve automation of welding.

After welding, the welding seam will be tested by tensile, bending, impact, groove cutting, micro metallographic structure inspection, X-ray inspection etc. The qualified rate of the weld is over 98%, totally meets the API1104 standard.
