1. The domestic welding process current status

According to the implementation process, welding can be divided into manual welding and automatic welding; research shows , the present welding automation rate in China is only 20% to 30% , which is 80% less than advanced industrial countries. Due to the traditionally takes manual welding, low production efficiency, unstable welding quality, shortage of welding technical workers and the fierce competition domestic and abroad, etc. The domestic industrial manufacture is gradually increasing it’s awareness and acceptance for welding automation. And the manual welding will gradually replaced by welding automation, for which will soon turned into rapid development from sustained development.

2. The market demand of the welding automation industry

Upgrading of welding automation industrial is the need of the developing of science and technology and the enhance of market competitiveness, in one word, it is the need of the development of science and technology. Except it is able to greatly reduce labor costs, improve labor productivity, product quality and enhance competitiveness. The initiative application of welding automation may effect intra-industry spillover, result more pressure on rivals. It is in this way been widely used in numerous industries like engineering machinery, petrochemical, aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding, marine engineering and rail transport industry.

3. DP internal and external automatic welding machine with wide application prospect

Introduce of DPIWM series internal welding machine:

A. High reliability: it is double sides double wheels driving mode, travelling part adopts both pneumatic and electric systems, with real-time feedback of wire feeding speed, speed auto-change of slight variation also has powerful supporting ability and Pipe roundness correction. In order to improve welding quality, efficiency, and material performance, DPIWM adopts GMAW, which can be used both onshore and offshore. Different wall thickness could be achieved with adjustment of the welding torch.

B. High welding efficiency: the applicable range is from 24 inch to 62 inch. It has 2-10 welding torches in 360°direction. With close and remote control box, it can achieve maximum welding time and reduce labor intensity.

Introduce of ZDP800 series external welding machine:

A. The ZDP800 series external welding machine is an excellent product of DP，combining cutting-edge technology automatic welding, suitable for steel grade X65-X120 and above for pipe diameter 4 inch and above. It has outstanding high-low temperature adaptability. Use multi function remote control box radial weld pass can be select, welding torch up/down, left/right ,wire feed speed ,cross travel of bud ,arc length correction and etc.

B. ZDP800 is suitable for single torch welding and dual torch welding, both of them are able to achieve the flat characteristic of GMAW and pulsed GMAW etc. Working parameters can be edited by PC and operator-computer interface; also parameters can be uploaded to other computers. Daily recording function is another feature as standard.
